A fuzzy-TOPSIS model for maintenance outsourcing considering the quality of submitted tender documents

The paper provides a multiple-experts Fuzzy-TOPSIS decision-making model for the selection among maintenance contractors based on quality of tendering documents. study introduces set criteria utilizing benefit and cost from literature. proposed aggregates subjective linguistic assessments multiple experts that express their opinions degree importance allows decisionmakers to evaluate compliance contractors’ For case study, is applied select maintain heavy-duty cranes an international steel company Several scenarios are investigated, major changes in final decision observed. obtained results illustrate need better address uncertainties rating overqualified contractor at higher cost.
